November 2, 2002 - Zoom Fax/Modem V.92 Model 3049
- Zoom Telephonics designs, produces and markets cable and ADSL modems, dial-up modems, wireless LAN products, home phoneline networking devices, and other data communication products. Zoom products are available in major retailers worldwide under the Zoom, Hayes and Global Village brands. Terry Manning, Vice President of Sales and Marketing explains the V.92 standard with V.44 compression. In addition, he discusses Zoom's Model 3049 which has the V.92 standard and V.44 compression that increases the speed of Web browsing, file uploads, and connect times. The 3049 model also has a Modem-on-hold feature to allow you to answer an incoming phone call then resuming your modem session.
